TO THE COMPLAINERS STEP UP OR LEAVE. WHILE I AM SURE YOUR KIDS ARE GREAT, AS ALL KNIGHTS KIDS ARE, YOU ARE NOT NEEDED OR WANTED HERE. I AM SURE YOU DO LITLLE, IF ANYTHING TO HELP THE AMOUNT OF TIME PUT IN BY THESE COACHES, BOARD MEMBERS AND VOLUNTEERS, AFTER A FULL DAY OF WORK, IS IMPRESSIVE AND SHOULD BE ADMIRED. IT IS INTERESTING THAT NOT A SINGLE WHINNER HAD THE GUTS TO LEAVE THEIR NAME. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GO TO WARMINSTER! I BUY YOU ALL A MAP! GO AND ENJOY. AND WHEN THEY GET SICK AND TIRED OF YOUR COMPLAINING GO TO WARRINGTON, AFTER THAT GO TO WILLOW GROVE AND AFTER NO ONE CLUB CAN MEET YOUR "WELL DESERVED" ENTITLEMENTS, GO PLAY SOCCER |

I agree with the Hills. NO ONE gave more to the Southampton Knights than them this year! They have the credibility to respond to any criticism from anonymous posters. I whole-heartedly thank them for all that they have done for the organization. And Zach is a good football player, too. He'd probably jack up any son of the anonymous poster. As would Greg and Justin.

I really enjoyed the banquet. I thought that food was fine, but more importantly, I liked the camaraderie. The Knights are a great organization and I thought it really showed. I thank the Knights' Board for purchasing the finest jacket that I think I've ever worn. The jacket is very warm, very distinctive and just a thrill to wear for me and my sons. I know it cost the organization a lot of money to buy those jackets, but they/we did so anyway. It was the right decision. This kind of success only comes around once in a great while. I now feel like it's a privilige to coach, and have my kids play, for the Southampton Knights. I hope others will post positive comments as well.

Funny how very few people want to step up and help but are quick to complain. I am sure the two who posted complaints have never volunteered a minute of their time or bothered to show up at a meeting. If you are going to complain at least learn how to spell! You look like a bigger idiot.Even though you were too much of a coward to leave your name it is very easy to find out who posted the comments. As far as awards - kids who made the playoffs all got awards - that is how it has been. You do not get a trophy just because you participated if you play on a playoff eligible team--time for the kids to grow up--show up at the meetings and you would understand all this.Feel free to go to Warminster if you are unhappy because you did not get a trophy for participating -you are in it for the wrong reason - I am sure they would love to have you-- it's ashame the parents ruin it for the kids. I think Knights is a great organization and my kids love playing - was never about awards for them -- they liked the coaches, players and most of all they love playing the sport! |

maybe instead of complaining you should go to a board meeting and voice your ideas or run for a board position or help on the banquet committee if you think you can do better. i think it is terrible that you have to trash talk on the web site where all can read if you like warminster so much im sure they will be glad to have you take your complaining there and you will get your trophy may be they give trophys for complainers.

we could have had a better banquet at our rec , realy think how much money was spent at that catering hall , the food was horrible , frozen chickin cutlets from ALDIS,donated can green beans & oodles and noodles, and road kill beef,Wow Jeff you could have done better than that, next yr tell all the parents to bring food and there red cups to the rec and lets have a better banquet, instead of giving red cups to the staff members as trophys have some curtesy for the kids that recieved pins. |

I thought that what we, paid to go to this yrs banquet it would have been alot better, I think all kids should have gotten a reward and not a stupid pin, just because they don't win a chip,it doesn't mean they don't deserve a trophy!!! even the pioneers have a losing program and there kids get trophys, we parents pay alot of money for these kids to play for this org. the kids that didn't win deserve alot better and not a stupid keystone pin.People that didn't do shit out on that field got more than the kids that went out every time to play there hearts out and tried to win, got more than the players, you people in charge of the treasury are so DAM CHEAP!!!!!!!!!! |

It has been a few weeks since our rousing success as an organization. My sons have participated in this wondrous success thanks to the efforts of the coaches of the 75's and 90's (and parents too!) Thank you to Coach Rick, Coach Mike, Tom and all of the 75lb. team coaches. You guys overcame everything and it was an absolute pleasure to watch. You guys definitely proved that you were the champions of that league. What a team! I hope Justin never forgets the feeling of winning you guys provided for him.
Thank you to Coach Jeff and Coach Neil of the 90's. Greg would never say so (yet) but he respects you guys more than any other coaches he's ever had. For the posting, I would just like to say that Jeff and Neil have been toiling in this league for over ten years, and nothing could be more satisfying than seeing them enjoy this championship. Oh, and the residents of what Coach Rick of the 75's calls "alcohol alley". Even though I don't approve of this moniker, I won't dispute the nickname. Between Coach Naki, Coach Chuck, Coach Mike and myself, I think that we provided a great outlet for conviviality. I applaud you guys, and I miss it already! My regards to Coach Ryan (who is right now busting someone's b***s about something,) and Coach Lloyd who knows what success in football feels like. We have all had some great fun. Thank you.
Congratulations to the 105's coaches, players, parents etc.. Most of you guys have been like brothers to me. Coach Bruce, Coach Bill, and all of you: CONGRATULATIONS!
From myself, my wife, Sharon, and my sons, Gregory and Justin I say: We salute all of you. We miss the fight. Have a great Christmas and New Year. Thank you. We're all proud to be able to say that we are part of Southampton Knights.
MFM
P.S. Thanks to MAB, Cecil B. Moore and, even, PW, for being so thoughtful and/or messing with us on the website. It's fun.

Parents, players, coaches and just about eveyrone else. My son and I are knew to this organization. I have had the great pleasure of meeting many of members of the Knights family (both on and off field personell). I have to say that our experience with the Knights this year has been tremendous! The coaches have been great, The players are all fine young men, and everyone involved with the Knights have been incredible. We have not had a negative experience during the entire year... until now. Reading all the recently added posts have kind of put a downer on what should be an wonderful experience for the boys especially but also for the entire organization. What do you think this says to the other teams that are all over our guestbook?? It makes us look dysfunctional!! No matter what side of the fence you are on in regards to the jackets, this is not the place to air it. COME TO THE MEETING ON TUESDAY!!! That is where these things should be said. Lets keep the guestbook clear of all the infighting! If you are truly a Knights Fan you should post your feelings (positive and negative) but try to be constructive and not mean! If you want to leave a mean comment, at least have the courage to leave your NAME!!! Thanks to the Knights and especially the 105 staff, players, and famililies for making this the best year my son Johnny has experienced on the football field!! |

It seems that there are a number of misinformed people out there. It was NEVER decided that the coaches and previous players on the 105lb team would not get jackets, but part of our due diligence in determining what we as an organization would be doing as far as jackets, it was one of many options we discussed. As you know, after going through all of our options, it was decided and agreed upon by all board members, without question or dissension, that we would be getting new jackets for all who earned them. As far as color of the jackets, that falls squarely on the individual teams/head coaches. All that we asked is that each team be uniform in the color they get. If anyone has an issue with the color of the jacket, that should be considered an internal team matter, not a matter for the board.
The long and hard work each of the current and past board members and many, many others within the organization has allowed us to get to the point where we can spend close to $12,500 on jackets where, as someone mentioned, many of the other organizations in the KSL would not or could not do that. I appreciate the feedback and commentary we receive but sometimes before leaving this feedback or making comments, one should make it a point of getting the facts. As a reminder, our next board meeting is on Tuesday Nov 8 at 7:00. I would encourage all that have something to say to please come to the board meeting and discuss it in an open forum. |

I would like to thank the organization for everything this year! It was never an issue that kids wouldn't get jackets -- I've been to board meetings and it was ALWAYS said that every player will get a jacket. It's ashame more parents don't come to the meetings during the season. Its always the same handful of people that get involved and give a ton of time for the kids. It's ashame that people have to post such negativity on a webpage of an organization that had a phenomomenal season. We are in this for the kids.To complain over a FREE duplicate jacket is ridiculous! When people commented at the Championship games who saw the 2 style jackets we already have said they liked the purple sleeves better due to the fact that the white get so dirty.Parents should come to the meetings during the season and get the correct info and also share their ideas--not wait till the end to start complaining. All season parents have been constantly encouraged to come out and get involved and share their ideas.Instead of posting all this negative stuff on the webpage try getting involved and coming to meetings and you'll get the correct info.We should be thrilled we have so many championship titles this year--not many organizations have that.Maybe 3 or 4 kids are getting a duplicate jacket--do you know how many kids would love to be in that situation and wouldn't care the least that it is duplicate!Plus,I know some kids jacket from last year is too small on them and they are glad they are getting another one so they can get it bigger.
CONGRATS to everyone on a great season and don't let the negative feedback from a few ruin the moment! This is a great organization and we are so lucky to have the people who donate so much time to the kids. |

It is ABSOLUTELY very nice that the Knights organization is buying jackets for the coaches and players. It is a shame that it took begging and arguing for it to happen. When the Knights have won in the past, EVERYONE got jackets, no questions asked. Now they were not going to give jackets to the coaches and players on the 105's who won them previously. THAT IS RIDICULOUS! Luckily they saw the light and came to their senses. It would be even nicer if they let the players have the jackets they want instead of forcing them to have the same jacket they had last year. The 105's already have purple. Let them have the color they want. If it is a question of cost, let the parents know and give them the option. This should be a joint decision and not a dictatorship. Parents should come to the next board meeting on Tuesday to discuss with the board. |

I want to thank the Knights Organization for giving the players Championship jackets. With 3 teams winning the championship the cost must be enormous. I know there are a lot of other organizations that do not do that for their players. The players worked hard all year and it is nice that the Knights are able to do something for them. So, thank you to all the coaches, staff and parents who helped make the “Southampton Knights” the great organization that it is. |

I was just wondering if you do relize that the returning 105's from last year will have two of the same jacket?!!! This is not fair to those who worked hard last year to earn that jacket, and worked even HARDER TO EARN THE SAME JACKET! They cut weight, displayed leadership and helped their team win THEIR 3rd CHAMPIONSHIP. THIS ISN"T FAIR TO THEM. |

A note of congratulations to the 90's for an excellent season and well-played championship game. As a football purist, I admire and respect a well-put together team and organization, even as an opponent. Coach(I'm horrible w/names), your team was that well-oiled machine this year, along with an excellent supporting staff that elevated you guys to Champions. Hope your guys enjoy the trophy (it's a great conversation piece) and the accolades that come with it. Have a great off-season, and even though we will be in different conferences next year, I'm sure we'll meet again in some capacity....maybe pre-season? as I enjoyed the challenge of playing against you (not the outcomes(LOL), but the challenge). Again, Congratulations on your Championship. |
