The Southampton Knights Football Organization capped off a truly amazing season with three straight KSL National Conference championships this past Sunday.

• The 75 lb Black Team, led by coach Rick Ervin, defeated the Harleysville Eagles with a dominant 24-0 shutout to cap off an undefeated season. Congratulations to Coach Rick, his staff and players on a tremendous performance.
  
  
  
  
• The 90 lb Team, led by coach Jeff McClenton, defeated the Cecil B Moore Chiefs 38-12 to cap off their undefeated season. Congratulations to Coach Jeff, his staff and players on a great championship game and an unbelievable season in which the team did not give up a single point all season and post-season until the championship game.
  
  
  
  
• The 105 lb Team, led by coach Bruce Quarles, defeated the Cecil B Moore Chiefs 22-0 to capture their third consecutive championship. That means the KSL National Conference 105 lb trophy is now Southampton's to keep forever. Congratulations to Coach Bruce, his staff and players on making Southampton Knights history and a special thanks to the former 105 lb players from the past two championship teams that came out to support this year's team.
  
  
  

A special thanks goes out to all the fans who showed up on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon/evening to root on the Knights and show what we as an organization are truly made of. Let's all cherish this moment as seasons like this do not come around too often.

REMINDER: This year's banquet is scheduled for Friday February 12, 2010 at Arthur's Catering in Southampton, PA. We will recognize all of our teams at the banquet but the highlight will truly be the presentation of the championship jackets to our 75 lb Black, 90 lb and 105 lb team. Please keep you eye on the website and your email for more information on the banquet and how to reserve your spot.
